INSTRUCTIONS FOR POSTER PRESENTATION

Poster size and Setup

• 1 metre x 1 metre board space will be provided to each presenter for poster display.

• Push pins will be provided to affix the poster.

• Location of poster board can be identified by a unique board number.

• Poster board numbers, presentation dates, and times will be communicated to each presenter well in advance.

Poster Design Guidelines

• Anonymity required: Ensure that the names of the presenter and other authors, institutional affiliations, or any other identifiers in the poster are masked or hidden by a white paper pinned on the poster till the judging session is over. No institutional identifiers should be there in any other parts of the poster.

• Title: Should be on top.

• Content should be organized under the main headings: Background (including rationale for the study, objectives, and hypothesis, if any), Methods, Results, and Conclusions.

• Avoid abbreviations and acronyms.

• Use clear and standard fonts such as Times New Roman, Arial, or Helvetica.

• Minimum font size should be 28 points. The text should be readable at 2 metres.

• The flow of content should be either down the columns or along the rows.

• Illustrations, photos, figures, charts, graphs, or tables should ideally occupy 50% or slightly more of the poster area, even if you need to enlarge them.

• Third-party copyright material should not be included without permission or legal rights.

• The poster should convey the message without the need for an oral explanation.

Presentation of Poster

• Total duration is 10 minutes: 8 minutes presentation and 2 minutes discussion.

• Presentation must be in English.

• Only the registered author who submitted the abstract is permitted to present.

• Do not disclose any identifying information during presentation.
